Martial arts are of various types. Basically they have four categories. These are weaponry, striking, grappling and hybrid like MMA. The most popular form is Karate, Tae kwon do, Judo, Kung fu and Tai chi Karate mainly based on high strikes, blocks, punches and kicks. In the beginning, you set the move. The Form of Tae kwon do is found only in Olympics. These martial arts are renowned for its spectacular kick. This exhilarating sport was born from Karate. These include axe kick where foot swings very high. Then it drops on the other player’s collarbone or head. There are also spinning kick, jumping kick and flying roundhouse kick. Most of the people believe that flying roundhouse kick has developed by knight riders for their horses. Here also you learn to set the moves. The pattern of fight may be simple in 2 or 3 moves. In other way, it is complex with 20 moves.

The sparring is arranged according to your opponent same like karate. The Judo is another kind of combat sport. The idea of this art depends on your opponent. These martial arts are very common especially for woman. In this art, first you must learn how to fall. While learning this, you do not hurt yourself through training. You can also recover yourself and jump quickly.
You will learn about basic throw, etiquette and how to escape your self from others holds. The Tai chi is a form of meditation. It is characterized by graceful, slow and flowing movement. This art is also good for body balance, strength and flexibility. It is one of the excellent martial arts of self-defense.
